Kym
Mellsop discovered Salida in 1994. A self-professed city girl from
the San Francisco Bay area, she fell in love with Salida's mountains and
river and slower pace of life. She also fell in love with her husband,
Hayden, a New Zealander who was in Salida for the fly fishing and rafting.
Hayden has been a guide for ArkAnglers since 1998. Kym and Hayden enjoy float fishing on the Arkansas as often as possible.
Kym
spent childhood summers exploring the outdoors and fishing side by side
with brothers Tim and Greg Felt. It was only when she moved to Salida
that she discovered the true joy of fly fishing...it's in the blood! Kym
and Hayden have two precious little girls, Sophia and Beatrice, who are
developing a love and respect for our beautiful river and mountains.
Kym loves to share her passion for the pristine Arkansas Valley with her clients. She would like to help you find that ideal mountain home, fishing property or in-town residence.
