Perfect for the beginner and experienced angler alike, this one-day course is an exploratory session in fly fishing. The course includes classroom time with presentations on selection and rigging of equipment, aquatic insects and their imitations, and trout behavior. The course also features a casting clinic and river demonstrations on reading the water, line management, and fly presentation. The course fee is $175 per person and includes equipment use and a $100 gift certificate to ArkAnglers. Space is limited.

The ArkAnglers Float Fishing School is a five-day intensive course on rowing whitewater for float fishing. Over the five-day program, participants will accrue approximately 50 training hours and exposure to a variety of safety topics. The course aims to provide the foundation in boating skills necessary to enjoy recreational float fishing or pursue a career in commercial guiding. This course does not emphasize advanced whitewater and students are encouraged to independently participate in a swiftwater rescue course.

Learn the fundamentals of the more technical methods of modern nymphing. This one-day course is designed for intermediate or experienced anglers looking to advance their skills and take their nymphing to the next level. Guests will enjoy a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on experience. This course will discuss equipment, rigging, fly selection, leader formulas, and more. It also includes river demonstrations of various tactics, casting techniques, presentation, line control, and reading the water. The course fee is $150/person.

The state of Colorado requires a fishing license for anyone 16 and up. Fishing licenses are available for purchase at both our locations, or can be purchased online in advance through the CPW. Annual licenses go on sale March 1 and are valid through March 31 the following year.
A one-day fishing license is included in the cost of the Never Ever Wade trip.
