With 102 miles of Gold Medal Water, the Arkansas River is the ideal fishing destination for any angler. Featuring rainbow trout, wild brown trout, and a vast array of diverse terrain, each section of the river packs its own unique punch. Fishable year round, this freestone fishery is renowned for its spring caddis hatch.
Available in half and full day options, the Arkansas River Wade is our most popular trip. Depending on conditions and angling experience, a portion of your wade may take place on additional area waters to enhance your overall trip.
An ideal way to cover more water in a single outing, these float trips often intersect both public and private water. The half day river float will typically traverse six to ten miles while the full day float will cover anywhere from nine to 20 miles, depending upon flow.
For those experienced anglers looking to make the absolute most of their trip, our wade & float combo combines a half day wade with a full day float over two days.

A short drive from our Buena Vista location, Colorado’s South Park is home to incredibly productive water, breathtaking vistas, and spectacular trophy trout. Featuring diverse fish and insect populations, these full day trips have limited availability during the year.
This high meadow tailwater fishery is known for its seasonal spawning runs of cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout. Best suited to intermediate anglers, this trip requires technical fishing, combining careful imitation of insects with delicate presentation on the water. These fish can be selective, easily spooked, and make good teachers for the angler looking to improve their game.
Often cited as one of the most biologically productive stillwater fisheries in North America, trout resident to its waters grow at rates that defy conventional biology. With exceptional fishing during early summer, this guided trip is a guest favorite May through September.
A highly productive fishery known for its callibaetis and damselfly hatches, trout grow quickly in these waters and respond well to both suspension nymphing and surface presentations, depending on the time of year and insect activity.

The Arkansas River Valley is home to one of the greatest concentrations of high alpine lakes in the Rockies. Available for a limited time during the year, nothing distinguishes the Colorado fly fishing experience like casting to cruising cutthroat at timberline. Conducted under permit of the San Isabel National Forest, these wade trips vary in intensity depending on guest experience and ability, and may utilize float tubes. In the interest of keeping Colorado wild, high lake destinations are not listed on our website.
